In a brazen heist straight out of a crime caper, three unscrupulous culprits in Santa Clara County, California, were nabbed for mail and identity theft, leaving a trail of chaos in their wake. The trio was also caught with 24 fake driver’s licenses, counterfeit cash, and a stash of narcotics, after having committed several robberies using two stolen Porsches.

“Based on mail theft alone, it’s likely that hundreds of people were affected. However, the true number may be higher, as many victims may not realize their mail was stolen,” quipped a Santa Clara Sheriff’s Office spokesman.
